Bitter Gourd Sabzi (Karelay ki sabzi)
Ingredients
- Bitter gourd 1/2 kg.
- salt 1 tsp.
- Onions (sliced) 5
- Tomatoes (sliced) 4
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp.
- Red chilli powder 1tsp.
- Salt 1/2 tsp.
- Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp.
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp.
- Oil 3 tbsp.
How to prepare:
- Peel and cut the bitter gourd.
- Remove the seeds completely.
- Marinade with salt for 1/2 an hour.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add onions and fry till light brown.
- Put tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt and cumin seeds.
- Cook till the tomatoes are soft and oil comes up.
- Wash the bitter gourd with water.
- In a separate pan fry bitter gourd in 2 tbsp. oil till brown.
- Add bitter gourd in masala and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Take out in a dish and serve with chappati.
- And enjoy the taste.
