Bathua ki kheer (Chenopodium or bathua or bathuwa (बथुआ)
Ingredients
- Bathu Seeds : 1 cup
- Milk : 1 lit
- Sugar : 1 cup
- Broken Dry Fruits : 1 tbsp
- Ghee : 1 tsp
How to Make Bathu ki Kheer
- Dry roast bathu seeds and clean them.
- Heat milk in a pan and bring it to boil.
- Add bathu seeds and stirr for 2 minutes.
- Add sugar and allow it to dissolve completely.
- Cook further till the milk starts thickening a little.
- Shallow fry the broken dry fruits.
- Garnish bathu kheer with dry fruits and 1 tsp of ghee.
- Bathu Kheer is ready.
- Serve it hot or refrigerate it for 2 hours and serve cold.
- Serve and enjoy the taste !!!
