Bitter Gourd Sabzi (Karelay ki sabzi)

Ingredients 

 

  •     Bitter gourd 1/2 kg.
  •     salt 1 tsp.
  •     Onions (sliced) 5
  •     Tomatoes (sliced) 4
  •     Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp.
  •     Red chilli powder 1tsp.
  •     Salt 1/2 tsp.
  •     Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp.
  •     Turmeric 1/2 tsp.
  •     Oil 3 tbsp.

How to prepare:

  •     Peel and cut the bitter gourd.
  •     Remove the seeds completely.
  •     Marinade with salt for 1/2 an hour.
  •     Heat oil in a pan.
  •     Add onions and fry till light brown.
  •     Put tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt and cumin seeds.
  •     Cook till the tomatoes are soft and oil comes up.
  •     Wash the bitter gourd with water.
  •     In a separate pan fry bitter gourd in 2 tbsp. oil till brown.
  •     Add bitter gourd in masala and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  •     Take out in a dish and serve with chappati. 
  •     And enjoy the taste.
